The Control of Substances harmful to health - was introduced by HSE regulations in 2002 and amended in 2013. Companies need to undertake COSHH assessments as part of their regular risk assessment process and are responsible for taking effective measures to control exposure and protect health. This may also improve production and/or cut waste.
